Replacing this cold control is fairly simple.
Before attempting removal we recommend that you watch a video which helps explain the different components of the cold control so that you are familiar with them. The video is linked under our part 102467 on our website.
Once you have removed the panel on the lower cabinet of the drinking fountain you will see the cold control which is mounted in the center of the top frame. To disconnect the cold control you will need to disconnect the two wire connections, remove the thermostat from the frame by removing the two flat head screws that hold the cold control in place, and pull out the probe that is inserted into the evaporator tank's bulbwell. It is helpful to note that the probe is just inserted into the bulbwell and is not fastened, glued, or soldered into place. Once the old thermostat is removed you can uncoil the probe of your new thermostat and insert it into the bulbwell until it comes out of the bottom of the evaporator. Secure the probe by bending the probe into a J hook. Once the probe is inserted you can fasten the thermostat to the bracket with the screws and connect the wires to the male electrical connections
