To access this Zurn P6900-SRK Solenoid Rebuild Kit for Solenoid on P6900-B-L (Part #113405), remove the 4 screws on the silver Solenoid (located on the Black Module). Clean out the round diaphragm with warm, soapy water and check for any debris. Carefully observe the way the valve goes together for reassembly.
There is a quick way to diagnose your faucet:
1) Disconnect the cable that attaches the Black Module to the Sensor of your Spout.
2) Keep it disconnected for about 1 minute then reconnect the cable and look to see if the faucet delivers any water.
A) If the water cycles for 5-10 seconds then shuts off you have a defective Sensor and you will need to buy a new Spout Assembly.
B) If there is no water you have a defective Module Assembly. If cleaning this Solenoid Repair Kit doesn't work, you will need to replace the complete Module (Part #113350).
If your faucet is randomly cycling water, it is likely that there is a light or reflection causing the sensor to activate or you have a defective sensor.
